Gosh, it's lenghty but not really profound - if you ask me. The article deals with the two writers - both devotees and journalists - and their way treating the topic "Martin Lee Gore". They wondered why there wasn't any bio of him on the worldwide market. So they tried - and apparently in a better way than Trevor Baker messed up the book about Dave.

It deals with early Mart's special ways of dressing, etc...they use interviews of Neil Tennant from 1984, etc. There's a comparison to Morrissey and why Mart is different - reflecting a lot on Mart's humour in his lyrics.

Then the article refers to Martin stating he writes to escape boredom. Sex and booze against the boredom of life. (We already know that one from Malins and Miller).

The last part deals with Johnny Cash covering PJ. Dave was very excited 2002 and called him and Mart just said quite emotionless that it worked out quite well. (DUH, Mart!!!!)

LOL, that's the very rough version...in the end it says the "BOOK IS GOOD - GET AND READ IT!!! Haha

Well, I got my copy today. The weekend is SAVED!!!! AndyFloofangelFloofangelFloofangel

Thanks Siv for the excellent summary!Hug3

In his Berlin time, when he was with Christina, their common hobby was reading and he read books in German to her and she was correcting his pronunciation if necessary.
That explains why he has no typical British accent when he's speaking German.Heart2
